Question: My car is all-wheel-drive, does it require a flatbed tow truck? Answer: No. A conventional tow truck is very capable of lifting all the car's wheels off the ground during transport.

Question: Does towing a car it at all? Answer: As long as your towing company is following all the procedures the manafacturer recommends for towing, your car will not suffer any damage at all. Since cars are lifted by their tires, under their own power they're riding on their own suspension. The tow truck's suspension actually absorbs most of the bumps from the road.

Question: Is there a special license required to drive a tow truck? Answer: No, there is not a special license for tow truck drivers, at least not for light duty tows. That being said, we require that each driver maintain a flawless driving record and regularly attend defensive driving classes.

Question: Does it cost more to get towed on a weekend or a holiday? Answer: It depends on the company, of course, but we offer the same rates at all times. In fact, since weekend traffic tends to be lighter we can often get your tow service completed more quickly which saves both time and money.
